Year 6 trip to the Pioneer Centre

On Thursday 7th November, our Year 6 pupils went on a five-day residential trip to the Pioneer Centre in Shropshire.

During their stay, pupils took part in a range of daytime activities such as: abseiling, archery, zip line, high ropes, climbing and a forest walk.

During the evenings, the children were treated to more exciting activities which included a disco, wide games in the dark, a campfire and a cinema night.

Throughout the week, the children gained independence, challenged themselves, developed friendships and made new friends. At the end of the week, the children won awards in categories like the tidiest room, most enthusiastic and team player.

All of our pupils should be immensely proud of what they achieved and how they behaved on the trip, setting a fantastic example for Riverside Primary.
